Tijdens de feestelijke zondagen in april gonst het in museumdeel Haspengouw van het leven! Er zijn maar liefst 11 Living History-acteurs aanwezig die je meenemen naar het platteland anno 1900.

DORPSFEEST HASPENGOUW

Op elk erf in Haspengouw spelen de acteurs historische taferelen, waarin ze jou graag betrekken. Zo beleef je de geschiedenis aan den lijve! Namiddag wordt het extra feestelijk met een fanfare die door het dorp trekt (1x/uur, 10 minuten lang). En op het erf van Beverst worden broden en vlaaien gebakken die je naar hartenlust kan proeven. 

Bezoek ook het nieuwe leven in de museumboerderij: kalfjes, lammetjes, geitjes, konijntjes, kuikentjes, ... Beleef ze van héél dichtbij!

Datum en tijd: iedere zondag in april van 10 u. tot 18 u.

Tickets: Je betaalt de toegangsprijs voor het Openluchtmuseum, de feestelijke zondagen zit hierin inbegrepen. Tickets zijn online verkrijgbaar. Bokrijkabonnees hebben gratis toegang.

The open-air playground is open every day free of charge, from dawn until dusk. There is a single entrance and exit, by the Fragrance & Colour Garden.  There is no need to reserve a ticket to visit the playground.  However, before you head to the playground it is advisable to check the Busy Barometer. 

Dogs on leads are always welcome at Bokrijk. We have a dog park where dogs can run free, located to the right of the Info Centre. Dogs on leads are also welcome in the open-air museum, except except in the animal yard* of museum farm The Dove House (no.10), 'The sixties' and the toddler village in the playground.

*This is because other animals live here. We not only want to keep it peaceful for them, but we also want to keep visitors and animals safe at all times.

The Open-Air Museum is open from 5 April 2025 to 2 November 2025, from 10:00 to 18:00 hrs. We are closed on Mondays, except for those falling in the Belgian school holidays and on public holidays.

Tickets do not need to be reserved, although tickets bought in advance are cheaper and more practical.

No, reservations cannot be made for Cycling Through Water.
