Open-Air Playground
Wow! Mega slides, swings, a climbing net, maze, spectacular zip wire and even a gigantic toddler town: not only is the Bokrijk open-air playground epic….. it’s epic fun too! There is a play zone for every age; plus adapted play equipment for children with disabilities. But there’s more! The playground is open all year round, free of charge!
Playing at the open-air museum
The play barn is one of the big crowd-pullers at the Open Air Museum. Here you can try out gaming heritage from Flanders such as skittles, curling, bowling or stilt walking. Fun is guaranteed! With numerous obstacles between, over and along tree trunks, the obstacle course forms a low, safe and natural play course at the edge of the woods. For real adventurers! You can still game with Bruegel in Bokrijk. The expo has ended, but the search continues. The jester from the painting 'The battle between Carnival and Lent' takes you on a digital tug-of-war. Using 'augmented reality', you will search the museum for lost objects from the painting. Collect them all and create a special digital artwork.
