Admission prices
We offer visitors with disabilities a discount on admission tickets to the museum. Persons assisting visitors with disabilities enjoy free admission to the Open-Air Museum. Proof will be requested with non-visible disabilities; this will not be the case with visible disabilities.
Facilities
The paths in the Open-Air Museum are paved so wheelchairs and other wheeled apparatus can move freely throughout the entire complex. We request people using mobility scooters to respect our speed limit of 5 km/h. The houses featured in the Open-Air Museum are equipped with wheelchair-friendly access wherever possible. We also welcome guide dogs everywhere in Bokrijk.
The majority of paths across the park are paved. The 4.5 km walking & cycling route that takes you to Cycling Through Water is fully accessible to pushchairs and wheelchairs. Wheelchairs are freely available at the Info Centre and/or can be reserved free of charge on telephone number 011 26 53 15.
Parking
Free disabled parking is also provided at both car parks (Car Park 1 and Car park 2). Please validate your ticket at the Info Centre. Be sure to display your 'blue card' or European Disability Card in the windscreen.
